The School of Rock needs: Guitarists, Singers, Drummers, Bass Players & Keyboard Players
*Learn how to play in a rock band
*Focus on working as a group, listening, ear training
*Fastest way to improve your skills and be a better musician
*Many styles of "Rock" covered
*Intermediate to advanced playing ability required, ages 12-18
*Beginners lessons also available
*Recording & Production lessons available
*Taught by 25 year pro and intl recording artist Martin Shears
*Carmel Youth Center (4th & Torres) & Carmel Valley locations
Martin Shears' School of Rock is different from most teaching facilities.
We believe the best way for your child to improve on his/her instrument is a combination of one 45-minute personal lesson and one 2.5-hour group jam lesson per week. We focus all lessons toward performance. Students will "put on a rock show" every few months. You will see and hear results! Montly tuition fee is $250. That's 13 hours of tuition for less that $20 per hour. Personal lessons are Mon-Thu 3-6pm. Group jam lessons are Fri & Sat afternoons.
